Vocations to Champagnat Marist Life

A vocation is an invitation from God to live one’s life in a certain manner.

Marist Brotherhood

The vocation of Marist Brotherhood is to “Make Jesus known and loved”.  This involves adopting a practical community lifestyle which embraces a Marial spirituality.  The Champagnat Marist mission centres around the Christian education of young people with a particular emphasis on meeting the needs of those that are least favoured.

There are a variety of ways to discover your vocation.  In general, discerning a vocation involves prayer, experiences, and reflection.  Attempting to be keenly aware of how God is working through other people is also very helpful. While there’s no one right or wrong way to proceed, if you’re interested in exploring the possibility of a vocation as a Marist Brother, please take the time to get to know us and consider what God is asking of you.   Contact: Br Chris Maney chrismaney@fmspacific.com
